Silver reflection

Our Enviro class have been working closely with the team from Taranaki Enviro Schools to prepare for our silver reflection .  It has been a really good journey as the children reflect on what we have been doing and how this relates to the Enviro Schools guiding principles.

Chicks

Our baby chicks are not babies anymore. They are growing fast and are enjoying the cuddles from kids and the chance to roam around at lunch time.

Chicken Club Clean Up

Our Chicken Club crew have been really busy cleaning and sprucing up the chicken shed and run. We cleaned it out today and got rid of all the old food scraps, the sticks and bits of rubbish. We also got rid of the wood chips that had accidentally been put in the run. We cleaned out the poo and old wood chips from inside the shed so that tomorrow we can spray it.  One of our food dispensers was all blocked up and moldy so we unscrewed that from the wall and cleaned it all out.  

While all that was going on, our chooks were having a lovely time investigating the orchard.  They weren't too sure what to make of their cleaned up coop!
